THE PROBLEM
Most portable heaters are built with function-first thinking—bulky forms, harsh materials, exposed elements, and poor handling ergonomics. They often look out of place in carefully designed interiors and pose safety concerns when moved while in use. Users are forced to choose between warmth, safety, and visual appeal.
GOAL
To design a quartz heater that blends seamlessly into modern interiors while prioritizing user safety and comfort. The objective was to create a product that feels intentional, calm, and trustworthy— something users wouldn’t feel the need to hide away when not in use.
THE SOLUTION
Designed in-house by Muse Designs, this quartz heater balances performance with refined aesthetics. Soft rounded edges, a muted color palette, and clean surface transitions allow it to sit comfortably within modern interior environments.
A dedicated integrated handle enables safe movement without direct contact with heated surfaces, reducing the risk of accidents. The protective front grille ensures safety while visually softening the glowing quartz tubes within, turning heat into a subtle visual warmth rather than a harsh industrial glare.
Every design decision—from form factor to material finish—was made to support ease of use, safety, and visual harmony. The result is a heater that doesn’t just warm a room, but complements it.
